Conversations is an expanding archive of audio recordings of informal discussions between JoAnn Gonzalez Hickey and artists from the collection. Each file will contain select extractions from the discussions, images of work held in the collection and the artist’s biography and web links.
The intention of the archive is to lend the artist’s voice to the collection as a resource for gleaning how artists speak of their studio practice, artistry, personal history, and career development. Each profile offers unique insights into the artist’s life and process.
