SYZYGY is a curatorial and study platform focused on unique abstract contemporary works on paper held in the JoAnn Gonzalez Hickey collection.

The information on this site provides an overview of a significant and unique archive of art works available to graduate students for research and project development to include studies in specific art genre, creative writing, curatorial practice and neuroscience. The collector’s history, individual philosophy and practice, as put forth, provide the framework within which the collection was conceived, developed and maintained.

The SYZYGY Study Platform presented here offers students direct studio access and hands on engagement with a private collection in an environment designed to maximize the potential for research. The images exhibited exemplify the range of works housed in the collection. Contact information is provided for those individuals interested in applying to the program.
